DAR conducts ARCCESS training in Ilocos Norte

  IN  cooperation with Costales Nature Farms, the provincial office of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Ilocos Norte has again successfully conducted a series of training for its farmer-beneficiaries. (Jopo Guerrero) The provincial office of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Ilocos Norte has again successfully conducted a series of training for its farmer-beneficiaries through its Agrarian Reform Community Connectivity and Economic Support Services (ARCCESS). In cooperation with Costales Nature Farms, DAR has trained around 100 farmers from the different cities and municipalities in Ilocos Norte on Agri-Extension Services (AES) and Business Development Services (BDS). Under AES, participative workshops on improved rice production technologies were held coupled with the establishment of technology demonstration farms in Piddig, Burgos and Currimao in order to monitor the development of the participants.
