Batac City—Batac Mayor Albert D. Chua led that blessing and inauguration of the city’s new water system project at Brgy. Camandingan, Sitio Bliss, this city on July 30, 2020.
The water project will benefit at least 55 residential houses in
the area.
This project is among the city’s “pet projects”, the basic need
for water.
In 1995, when the mayor entered politics, he already noticed an
old inoperable old water tank at Sitio Bliss in the said barangay.
“And now that I’m back as mayor, I, together with the present set
of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, found ways and funding in order to revive and
rehabilitate the water system,” Mr. Chua disclosed.
He said his administration is “trying its best” to bring all the
basic needs closer to the people of Batac with “high hopes” to provide water
systems to all rural barangays in the city as long as said barangay can provide
abundant water supply that can suffice the water needs of the residents.
The PHP700,000-worth water system consists of the total
rehabilitation of the water system, including the pipes that will connect to
the residential houses.
“Iti laeng pannakabagi

mausar tay makina a mang-produce iti danum base no manut mausar da tutal
ada met metro na kada households,” the mayor explained.
Aside from Brgy. Camandingan, the schedule shows that Brgys. Qiuom
and Baay, Maipalig, Pimetentel and Magnuang will soon follow their own kick-off
the water system projects as long as the barangays can provide water supply.
Barangay Camandingan chairperson Noli Lacambra thanked the
current administration headed by Mr. Chua for providing the water system at Sitio
Bliss.
Aside from the water system, Mr. Lacambra also took the
opportunity to thank the city government for the farm-to-market road projects
in his barangay.
During the same event, Mr. Chua administered the oath of office
of the newly elected officers of the “Bliss Water System” organization.
