Dingras, Ilocos Norte—Mayor Erdio Valenzuela expressed his gratitude
to all the people who participated in the successful staging of the recently
concluded 14th Ani Festival 2015 held March 15-21.
Mr. Valenzuela said the
festival was very successful with all municipal officials cooperating as well
as non-government agencies, private and public schools, the balikbayan groups
and other concerned individuals.
He also thanked the police
for keeping the peace during the fiesta celebration.
Meanwhile, several
balikbayans said they appreciated the continuing progress of their hometown.
The balikbayan group turned
over a multi-purpose building worth P1 million to the Dingras government on
March 18.
The Dingras government
provided the lot for the building.
The mayor is hopeful that his
fellow Dingras native will continue to help their town to achieve more
progress.
Among the highlights of the
Ani Festival were the coronation nights for the balikbayan groups.
