LC doctor adjudged outstanding community leader

A nominee of the Ilocos Norte Medical Society, Dr. Purisima A. Bueno (seated at center) won the Jose P. Rizal Memorial Award for Community Leadership during the107th Annual Convention of the Philippine Medical Association held at the Vigan Convention Center in Vigan City on May 23, 2014. Dr. Bueno was among the finalists in different categories – research, government, academe, clinical practice and community leadership. She was past president of INMS, past governor of the PMA, past president and currently executive director of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ilocos Norte-Laoag City Chapter.
