INWD-PrimeWater breaks ground on new Laoag City deep well

By Dominic B. dela Cruz Staff reporter LAOAG CITY—In pursuit of providing the most number of Laoagueños with standard-based and sustainable water supply and services, the partnership between the Ilocos Norte Water District (INWD) and PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp. (PrimeWater) took another huge step as it celebrated on January 30, 2018 the groundbreaking of its new source development project at Brgy. 29. Cops raid former Paoay mayor’s farm house

By Leilanie G. Adriano Staff reporter Paoay, Ilocos Norte—Police raided the farm house of former Paoay mayor Dolores Clemente at Brgy. San Roque village in this town on February 8, 2018. Armed with a search warrant operation, personnel of the Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office and the Paoay police led by P/Insp. Grandeur Tangonan found various firearms in some cottages within the compound. In a radio interview, the 68-year old widow of Bonifacio Clemente, also a long time Paoay mayor, she explained that her late husband was the name registered for the recovered firearms and she was about to transfer them under her name. “ Nagulat po ako dahil bigla na lamang silang pumunta. Entry of third telco excites Ilocos netizens

This is one of the good news Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque shared in his recent visit to Laoag as he reported that they have discussed in a cabinet meeting the improvement of the country’s internet connectivity.
