By Dominic B. dela Cruz Staff Reporter Laoag City —The Civil Service Commission in Ilocos Norte recognized hundreds of government employees from the province during its 119 th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (CSC) celebration. The celebration, with this year’s theme “Civil Service at 119: Upholding Integrity and Building a High-Trust Society”, was held at the Laoag City Hall Auditorium on September 23, 2019. All Ilocos Norte government employees who reached 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years in service respectively received the Length of Service Awards. CSC provincial director Atty. Rex Ami said the awardees received the certificate of Length of Service. In the agency level, cash awards of PHP10,000 came with those who had 10 years of service, with an additional PHP5,000 for every five years more of service. Relative to this, the CSC suspended work for the employees at 2 pm of September 23, 2019 for them to have time with their family to celebrate Family
