CVF expresses gratitude for successful Pamulinawen Festival

Fariñas expressed her gratitude to all the people who made the celebration of the 2014 Pamulinawen Festival a success. This year’s fiesta is the first in the administration of the neophyte mayor. The month-long celebration kicked off with the civic-military parade on Feb. 1. That same night, the Dios ti Agngina concert was also staged concluded by a fireworks display at the Aurora Park. The main celebration occurred on Feb. 10, the commemoration of the feast day of St. William the Hermit. On that day, the street pageantry was held on the day along with a holy mass and the Komedya Ilocana. On the evening, the Miss Laoag City Pamulinawen International Quest was staged. The city’s premiere beauty pageant saw a La Union lass, Kimberly Mae Penchon winning the Miss Laoag City crown.
