KWF Onlayn Dap-áyan, magsisimula na ngayong Pebrero 2023 tampok ang mga salawikain

Magsisimula na sa Pebrero 24, 2023 ang “Onlayn Dap-áyan” sa mga “Babasahín sa Saliksik at Kulturang Pilipino” ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) tampok ang mga salawikain.

Ang proyektong ito ay serye ng mga pagbása at talakayan sa iba’t ibang panitikang-bayan ng bansa kabilang ang salawikain, bugtong, alamat, awiting-bayan, at epiko.

Kumukuha ito ng inspirasyon sa dap-áyan ng mga taga-Kordilyera na may kinalaman sa mga ritwal at paraan upang malutas ang mga isyu ng komunidad.

Sa bawat sesyon, magbibigay ang KWF ng babasahín at gabay sa pagbása ng mga panitikang-bayan para sa isasagawang talakayan sa onlayn na platform.

Bukás na ang pagpapatalâ para sa unang sesyon tampok ang salawikain sa Pebrero 24, 2023. May hiwalay na pagpapatalâ para sa iba pang sesyon: Abril 28, 2023 (bugtong), Hunyo 28, 2023 (alamat), Agosto 31, 2023 (awiting-bayan), at  Oktubre , 2023 (epiko).

Libre at bukás ito sa sinumang interesado. Kinakailangan lámang magpatalâ sa link na ito: https://forms.gle/idhnj7N4rrikkpcN6. Pipili ang KWF ng 30 kalahok na pagkakalooban ng sertipiko ng partisipasyon. Magbibigay rin ng mga aklat ng KWF Publikasyon sa piling mga kalahok.

Marcos town celebrates 3rd Pinakbet Festival

MARCOS, Ilocos Norte—Taking pride of this town ’s favorite Ilo cano dish, locally known as pinakbet, a mix of indigenous vegetables steamed in fish sauce, residents here ushered the opening of the third Pinakbet festival. “Pinakbet” came from the contracted Ilokano word ‘pinakebbet ’ which means “ shrunk ” or “shriveled.” As a way of thanksgiving, the Pinakbet festival is a repository of the town ’ s “ani” [harvest] festival being celebrated every month of March but this was later moved to December to accommodate more balikbayans wanting to join the festivity. Residents in this agricultural town derived most of their income from the harvest of high value crops, including rice, tobacco and corn as staple crops.
