(ABC)—Ilocos Norte chapter elected their new officers on August 8, 2016 at the
Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall.
Representatives from the
Laoag City Commission on Elections (Comelec) office, the Dept. of Interior and
Local Government, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a pastor
from the Sarrat Baptist Church witnessed the election.
The new ABC Ilocos Norte
chapter officers are: Paul Baltazar of Sarrat, president; Celso Ragusante of
Paoay, vice president; and Joel Tesoro, Faustino Tomas, Al Aguibay, Alexander
Navarro and Reynaldo Mariano, board of directors.
Mr. Baltazar was the previous

to the position.
The ABC Ilocos Norte chapter
president automatically becomes an ex-officio member of the Sangguniang
Panlalawigan.
Under the Local Government
Code, the Liga ng mga Barangay is governed by their own constitution and
