Community leaders,
delegates from various Filipino unit organizations representing their
respective group will be gathered at the Lanai Social Hall of the Philippine
Consulate General 2433 Pali Highway, Honolulu, Hawaii on June 14, 2014 for
the Oahu Filipino Community Council (OFCC) annual convention.
The
theme for this year’s convention is “OFCC Is Alliance; Alliance Is OFCC”.
This
convention may draw from 150 to 200 delegates from more than 40 unit
organizations with OFCC affiliation. As anticipated, proposed bylaws amendment
and resolutions will be part of this convention and deliberation.
OFCC
leadership strives to work as a team for improvement and prosperity in keeping
the Filipino traditions and cultural heritage.
Schedule of the program
7 am
– 10 am: registration of delegates (delegates register in person)
9 am: In her last term of two years, the
convention will be called to order by OFCC President Jean Jeremiah, followed by
the opening prayer by Rev. Alex Ravelo Vergara; then the singing the National
anthem

president will make her president’s annual report followed by the announcement
of the “Top 10 Unit Organizations’ with Larry Ramirez.
The
OFCC treasurer will make his report.
