O R D E R
          This is a verified Petition filed by petitioner Marianne R. Garcia of 472, Violet St., Rainbow Village, Angono, Rizal. Impleaded as parties-respondents are Bruce L. Garcia, the petitioner’s legal husband, a citizen of the United States of America, a resident of 22407, Halldale Avenue, Torrance, California, 90501, USA and his Philippine address is Brgy. 15, Baligat, Batac City; the Local Civil Registrar of Batac City and the Civil Registrar-General, National Statistics Office (NSO), Quezon City.
          The petitioner alleged in her petition that they got married with the private respondent on August 30, 2002 in Batac City and they were both Filipino citizens. Private respondent migrated to USA and eventually acquired American citizenship on November 22, 2004. In August 13, 2015, private respondent filed a Petition for Dissolution of Marriage against the petitioner and was eventually granted by the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles. On the Dissolution Decree, their marriage was terminated effective October 15, 2015. She further alleged that the State of California allows dissolution of marriage, particularly the California Family Code, Division 6, Part 3, under Sections 2300 to 2542. The Decree of Dissolution secured by the private respondent, as granted, conforms to said Family Law of the State of California, particularly Section 2310, laying irreconcilable differences as the ground relied upon in the petition. Consistent with Article 26 of the Family code of the Philippines and the ruling of the Supreme Court in the case, Corpuz vs. Sto. Tomas (GR No. 186571), she filed this petition and prayed that after due notice and hearing the Dissolution Decree obtained by the private respondent be judicially recognized and enforced as valid; that an order be issued directing the public respondents Local Civil Registrar of Batac City and NSO Civil Registrar General to annotate the fact of the Dissolution Decree in the marriage certificate of the petitioner and private respondent and declare the petitioner capacitated to remarry.
          Finding the petition to be sufficient in form and substance, the same is hereby given due course by setting it for hearing on March 31, 2017 at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon. Any person/s who may have an interest in or maybe adversely affected by the petition may file his, her or their written opposition to the petition or may personally appear in Court on such dates of hearing to signify their opposition thereto and to show cause why the petition should not be granted.
          Let copies of the petition and this Order be separately furnished the Office of the Solicitor General, Manila; the Office of the City Prosecutor, Batac City; respondents Local Civil Registrar of Batac City and the Office of the Civil Registrar General, National Statistics Office, Manila.
          And further, let this Order be published in any newspaper of general circulation in the entire province once a week, for three (3) consecutive weeks, at the expense of the petitioner.
          Let also a copy of the Petition and its Annexes together with  a copy of this Order be furnished the respondent at his given address at 22407, Halldale Avenue, Torrance, California 90501, USA by registered air mail with return card, and at this Philippine address at Brgy. 15, Baligat, Bataac City.
          The respondent is hereby given a period of sixty (60) days from the last publication within which to submit his Answer/Comments to the petition.
