Laoag native wins Mister Model Worldwide 2018 Grand Winner

Laoag City—A few days before Christmas, another Filipino bagged an international crown next to Miss Universe Catriona Gray, as Carlo Pasion of this city became the Mister Model Worldwide 2018 Grand Winner.

The Grand Night commenced at the City Park Resort in New Delhi, India where 16 candidates all over the world compered for the grand prize on December 22, 2018.

Carlo was then Misters of Filipinas' Mister Ocean 2018. He is also a batchmate of Ion Perez who also got the title of Mister Universe 2018.

Apart from winning the title, Mr. Pasion also won the Best Fashion Model special award at the said international modeling competition for men.

Thailand’s Yutthakon Buddeesee took first runner-up; India’s Suraj Dahiya, the second runner-up; Bolivia’s Hugo Leigue Mendez, third runner-up; and Nigeria’s Ogburie Ebuka Pascal, fourth runner-up.

The special awards winners are: Mister Photogenic – Ethiopia; Best National Costume – Thailand; Best in Talent – Tibet; Mister Perfect Body– India; People’s Choice Award – Bhutan; Best in Formal Wear – Nigeria; Best Runway Model – South Korea; Mister Intellectual – Sri Lanka; Best Fashion Model – Philippines; Best Commercial Model – Bolivia; Mister Congeniality – Ghana; Mister Charming Smile – Nepal; Face of the year – Azerbaijan; Mister Personality – Lebanon; Mister Style Icon – Armenia; Most Charming Gentleman – Myanmar.

The contest was organized by Rubaru Group, a well-known pageant organization in the North Indian state of Haryana.
