Ilang minuto sa CD-R King sa Puregold Laoag

Ang hirap talaga ng poor na, mukhang poor pa.

Nagpunta ako sa CD-R King sa Puregold Laoag. At dahil gusto kong naka-relax mode, naka-shorts at lumang shirt lang ako.

Nagtanong ako kung may tinda silang jacket case para sa 8-inch Android Tab. Halos padabog na sagot ng salesgirl na may name tag na Cheryll, “Wala”. Sabay head-to-foot sa akin bago ipinagpatuloy ang pagbibilin niya ng pagkain sa kanyang katrabaho.

May nakita akong isang accessory para sa iPad, tinanong ko kung pwedeng matingnan. Parang nabwisit si salesgirl Cheryll dahil naiistorbo ko ang pag-order niya ng kanyang lalapangin. Biglang nagsalubong ang kanyang mga kilay.

Muli niya akong binigyan ng nakakapanindig balahibong head-to-foot at sinabi: “Pang-iPad lang ‘yan! At P990 ang presyo n’yan!” Nanlilisik na ang kanyang mga mata na wari’y galing s’ya sa bituka ng impyerno.

Nabuhay ang dugong Diego Silang sa aking mga ugat, sinita ko ang attitude ni kagalang-galang na salesgirl Cheryll. Pero imbes na kumalma at pakinggan ako, pinagsasagot ba naman ako na pang-iPad lang yung gusto kong tingnan at mahal!

Pinatawag ko ang manager. Dumating si OIC Jenni.

Pero sabi ni OIC Jenni, sa website lang daw ng CD-R King ako pwedeng mag-complain. Wala daw kapangyarihan ang branch na aksyunan ang mga grievances laban sa mga empleado nila. Ha? Ganun? Nakakabaliw naman!

Sobrang sama ng loob ko sa mga isinagot sa akin ni OIC Jenni, lalo na’t habang nagrereklamo ako, patuloy pa rin ang paghead-to-foot sa akin ng nagngangangawang si salesgirl Cheryll—nakataas ang noo at puno ng yabang.

Umalis na lang ako na halos pumutok ang aking puso sa galit. Tinatanong ko sa aking sarili kung bakit ganito ang treatment ng CD-R King ng Puregold Laoag sa kanilang mga customers.

At bagamat, tenant lang nila ang CD-R King, hinahayaan ba ng management ng Puregold Laoag na masira ang kanilang image dahil sa lantarang kabastusan ng ilang salesgirl sa loob ng kanilang mall?

O sa mga tulad ko lamang ba na obvious na poor sila ganoon? Kung ako kaya si Anne Curtis? O si Janet Napoles? O si Mommy Dionisia? O si Justin Bieber?

Hay! Ang hirap maging mahirap!

  1. I witnessed an instance like this. A customer asked about a certain product and the saleslady told him to look for it at the corner instead of looking for it herself; "kitam dita," the saleslady told him." And yes, this is a serious concern.

  2. Those CDR King staff seem to be more concerned about other things except what they are supposed to do. They are not only rude but they are also so conceited that they believe we couldn't esist without them.

  3. Nandun po ako ng mangyari po iyan dba po sir mali din po ung ginawa nio sa staff ng cd-r king na duruin nio po sila.? Atsaka po sir dba po merong priority number? Comment ko lang naman ho anu po?

  4. dec 7 2013 @4:39 in d afternoon title " i was there " ma walang galang na po ginoo nandun aq ng mangyari..,tanung lang po panu po kau ma headtofoot ng sales lady kung my pagtan po na stante at bkit u pa po ipag pipilitan kung di po compatible sa item nyo ? isa pa po naring ko po cnv ng grl na kuha po kau ng priority number pero nag dretso po kau d naman po kau cguro pregnant or senior citizen para bgyan ng special treatment d naman mdami din pong mga customer ang cdrking kung madami pong may galit sakanila d na po sa cla naubusan ng tao okay naman po staff ng cdrking ....

Pagudpud’s tourism transformer passes away

Ricardo Nolasco Jr., owner of Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte passed away on Wednesday evening, July 11, 2018.
