A Friendly message to fellow Sinaitenians and Sinait Alumni—graduate/non
graduate, faculty members, former employees.
Aloha: My name is Amado I. Yoro, 1966 graduate of SNHS,
and a son of Tapao, Sinait, Ilocos Sur. I am currently residing in Oahu, Hawaii
since my arrival in July 1971. I am one of organizers of community and civic
organizations including Alumni, provincial and town organizations, include but
not limited to Sinaitenians, Annak Ti Sinait Iti Hawaii, Sinait National High
School Alumni, and others.
Currently, we are organizing, coordinating and are in the
planning stage of an Alumni Homecoming, Medical Mission, and Holy Visitation
and Veneration of the Town Patron Saint: the Sto. Cristo Milagroso, known also
as Black Nazarene, Apo Lakay and Pugot a Nazareno.
I was assigned by the two organizations: Annak Ti Sinait
and Sinait Alumni’s respective presidents Antonio Ipalari, and Davelyn Quijano, with the approval of the board of directors, to chair these
special projects. As you are reading this message, we already started simple
fundraising activities like the Walk for Fun and Healthy Mind and Body every
month since June 2013, and the Bangus
Fundraising, longganisa and other
means to build our funds. We are looking for all Sinaitenians all over the world or anyone abroad who are formerly
from Sinait, whether a graduate, non-graduate, Sinait-born, or married with a son/daughter
of Sinait, to join us, call us, or email us. What you see or read in this
