Paru-parong simbahan

Nakakaumay na ang paggamit sa life cycle ng paru-paro sa pagsasalarawan sa buhay. Pero sige, gamitin uli natin!

Ito lang siguro ang kaibhan ngayon: Sa pamamagitan ng ikot ng buhay ng paru-paro, isasalarawan natin ang ugali ng ilang churchgoer o nagsisimba.

Flashback tayo sa buhay ng paru-paro.

Magsisimula ito bilang isang itlog na nakapatong sa halaman.  Pagkalipas ng ilang lingo, mapipisa ang itlog at iluluwal ang isang caterpillar—isang mabalahibong “uod” na ubod ng bagal sa pagkilos.

Matapos ang ilang linggo, maghahanap ang caterpillar ng mapwe-pwestuhan para maging pupa o chrysalis.  Sa kanyang pagiging pupa, maglalambitin at sasabak sa napakahimbing na “pagtulog”.

Pagkaraan ng dalawa hanggang tatlong lingo, kakawala na ito bilang isang makulay at masayang paru-paro.

Sa karaniwang obserbasyon, ganito rin ang cycle ng ilang mga nagsisimba, lalo na tuwing Linggo ng umaga.

Una, sila’y tila mga itlog na walang kagana-ganang maghanda para sa misa. Makaraan ng ilang “orasyon” at “ritwal” sa kwarto, sa kusina, sa banyo at sa tokador, unti-unti silang uusad patungong simbahan.

Pagdating sa simbahan, hahanapin na nila ang kanilang dating pwesto at doon na isasalampak ang kanilang mga sarili.

Pagkaraan lamang ng ilang sandali, babanat na sila ng tulog. ‘Yun namang mga medyo mataas pa ang delikadesa, maggigising-gisingan na lamang—‘yun bang dilat ang mga mata, pero ang ulirat ay nasa ibang dimension na.

At ang nakapagtataka, pagkatapos na pagkatapos ng concluding rites ng misa, bigla silang magigising at magiging buhay na buhay ang kanilang mga mukha. Pagkalabas ng simbahan, mamamayagpag na sila kung saan-saan—sa kainan, sa mall, sa sinehan, o di kaya’y sa majongan. Ni isang aral sa misa, walang matandaan.

‘Yan ang makulay na buhay ng mga “paru-parong simbahan”.

Sabagay, kung minsan hindi natin sila masisisi. Marahil ay hindi na natutugunan ng simbahan ang kanilang pangangailangang-ispiritwal.

Paumanhin po sa mga mahal nating pari, pero marami na kasi sa kanila ang hindi na kakikitaan ng seryosong “spirituality”. Ilan nga sa kanila, wala man lang bahid ng “holiness” ang kanilang pagseselebra ng misa. Isama na rin diyan ang mga sermon na walang koneksyun sa salita ng Diyos at mga sermon na singhaba ng encyclopedia.

At higit sa lahat, marahil hindi na nakikita ng ilang churchgoer ang pagsasabuhay ng clergy sa mga gawain ni Kristo—kabanalan, pagsasakripisyo, pagpapakumbaba, pagtulong sa mga nangangailangan at simpleng pamumuhay.

Dapat ay kumilos na ang mga namumuno ng ating simbahan—as in seryosong pagkilos at pagbabago na. Bago pa maging paru-paro ang lahat ng mga nagsisimba, at dumapo sila sa ibang relihiyon o paniniwala.

Lozano of Adams, Ilocos Norte receive a resolution of commendation, a certificate of college scholarship grant to their family members and a P20,000 cash incentive each from the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte represented by Governor Imee R. Pagudpud’s tourism transformer passes away

Ricardo Nolasco Jr., owner of Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte passed away on Wednesday evening, July 11, 2018. He was 67. “He did not survive an open-heart surgery,” said Ronald Dominguez, spokesperson of the largest resort at Brgy. Balaoi in Pagudpud.
