Updates from the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte-Gov. Imee Marcos

• Sandbagging operations by DPWH and municipal government are ongoing in Solsona, Ilocos Norte specifically in Bagbag and Putao.
• DPWH en route to Provincial boundary between Ilocos Norte and Cagayan for repairs.
• Surong Valley in Vintar isolated as the road going there is down.
• Bacarra river has risen, Casilian and Tagipuro flooded.
• In Dingras, municipal government officials conducted rescue and relief operations for three families living near the river bank at Barangay Parado. Families were evacuated to barangay hall and relief goods have been distributed.
• In Marcos, Barangay Fortuna is flooded but everything is under control according to municipal government officials.
