The
Dept. of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Ilocos
Norte Provincial Office conducted a diskwento caravan in the Municipality of
Bangui, Ilocos Norte on 27-28 May 2015. The two-day Caravan was made possible
thru the participation of three business entities who sold basic and prime
commodities at discounted prices. It was held at the Bangui People’s Center in
cooperation with the local government of Bangui.
The caravan is aimed at
easing consumers of the rising prices of commodities and bringing the goods
nearer to them by setting up mobile market outlets and offering the lowest
prices possible.
There are two more diskwento
caravans scheduled to be conducted for the first semester of 2015. The venue will be at Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte
on June 10 - 11 and Burgos, Ilocos Norte on June 17 – 18.
