Predictions for 2015

In our younger years, Freddie Caralipio was one of the busiest hairstylists in Laoag City. He was the owner of El Hombre—later renamed Freddie’s Super Hair—one of the most active hair salons in the 1980s up to early 2000s.

At present, Freddie is still very active. But his attention is now divided into two matters—the vision for beauty and the vision for the future. Simply put, besides being a beautician, he is now also known as a tarot card reader.

Freddie has gained a reputation as a local Nostradamus because many of his predictions seemingly figured in real events. Thus, even some politicians, businessmen and media personalities frequent his place for tarot reading.

For a year starter report, Argie Lorenzo, correspondent of 24 Oras Ilokano, interviewed Freddie on his predictions for the year 2015.

Here are some of his predictions for Laoag City and Ilocos Norte:

MORE TOURISTS WILL FLOCK IN LAOAG CITY.

MORE BUSINESSES WILL RISE IN LAOAG CITY AND ILOCOS NORTE.

ILOCOS NORTE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT WILL RECEIVE AWARDS.

AN ILOKANO WILL BE ENDORSED TO RUN FOR PRESIDENCY.

24 ORAS ILOKANO WILL RECEIVE HONORS AND AWARDS.

TOPNOTCHERS IN BAR AND BOARD EXAMS WILL COME FROM ILOCOS NORTE.

AN AIRPLANE BOUND TO LAOAG CITY WILL CRASH.

A POLITICIAN WILL BE MURDERED.

A LAWYER WILL BE KILLED.

A MEMBER OF THE MEDIA WILL MEET AN ACCIDENT.

THERE WILL BE A SHOOTING INCIDENT DURING A FIESTA CELEBRATION.

MANY WILL DIE DUE TO FOOD POISONING.

FIRE WILL DESTROY MANY HOUSES.

A FAMILY WILL BE MASSACRED.

Whew! It seems that the negative predictions outnumber the positive ones.

But according to Freddie Caralipio, negative vibes may or may not happen—it all depends on how hard we pray. He believes that if we deeply ask God, no bad things will come to us this year and for the rest of our lives.
