          GREETINGS:

          WHEREAS, the plaintiff on October 16, 2013 filed this case for expropriation with motion for the issuance of a writ of possession praying for the immediate possession, control and disposition of the parcels of land sought to be expropriated.
          WHEREAS, the plaintiff have already deposited the same to the Branch Clerk of Court;
          YOU are hereby ordered to take immediate possession of this lot to wit:
          A parcel of land situated in #18 Batuli, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte covering Lot No. 50938 with an area of 361 square meters and identified under Tax  Declaration No. 08-0018-00524.
          And immediately turn over to the possession, control and disposition to the plaintiff.
          You shall make a return of your proceedings to the court within ten (10) days from taking possession and turn over the said lot.

          Filed with this Court is a verified petition for the adoption of the minor Ella NiƱa Manglal-lan Dela Cuesta by Norma Dela Cuesta-Nevermann of Brgy. #49-A Darayday, Laoag City, Philippines. If the petition is granted, the registered name of the minor will be ELLA NIƑA DELA CUESTA NEVERMANN.
          Finding the petition to be sufficient in form and substance, the Court hereby sets the hearing of the petition on June 23, 2014 at 8:30 A.M., at the Regional Trial Court, Marcos Hall of Justice, Branch 11, Laoag City at which date, time and place, any interested person may appear and show cause why the petition should not be granted.

Pagudpud’s tourism transformer passes away

Ricardo Nolasco Jr., owner of Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte passed away on Wednesday evening, July 11, 2018. He was 67. “He did not survive an open-heart surgery,” said Ronald Dominguez, spokesperson of the largest resort at Brgy. Balaoi in Pagudpud. Known as the architect behind the transformation of Pagudpud town as a premiere destination of the north, Mr. Nolasco put up Hannah’s Beach Resort in what was originally meant as a family vacation resort. The rest is history when it expanded into more than 300-room executive villas and cabanas, with on-going infrastructure developments and set up various amenities. As a result, hundreds of domestic and foreign tourists visit here daily.
